Day 60 - I turn 2 (months)!

To celebrate my birthday and the fact that papa has a school holiday, we went to visit the new Sports Hub.

Day 58 - Celebrating national day @ Bishan Park

Jiaying ," Papa and mama brought Kor Kor and me to the park today. My first outing to the park - and Kor Kor's first since his dengue scare. Mmm, I like fresh air and sunshine.  However Kor Kor and I ended up wailing our way home ...like the piggy song- waaah waah waaah all the way home!"

Day 57 - TGIF!

Jiaying ," Kor Kor have you washed your grubby hand before touching my face. Mama has tried her best to keep my complexion pristine."

Jiaying's letter to papa and mama

Jiaying ," papa and mama, I know that it cannot be easy having to take care of Kor Kor and me at the same time. 

Weekends are in fact much more stressful than weekdays for you. I will try to be as good as I can. And I also hope that you and mama will continue to be good to each other thru this adjustment period.

 I have heard you both arguing over us and I know my shrill crying doesn't help keep tempers calm.

I will try to be more demure but you also should try to be more patient with each other especially since sleep deprivation brings out the short tempered monster in all if us. Many times you say things you don't want or mean it to be. 

I love you both very much and Kor Kor too. 

P.S.  Papa, Mama told be during our nightly feeds how much she missed you at night. I will try to be quieter at night so I don't wake up you and Kor Kor. Also she said is sorry for she sounding so short and will try not to do so. 

Day 52 - First non-grocery non-pedi outing

Jiaying," Today is the first time we went out for a meal with everyone. I was even the first one to have my meal - courtesy of mama."

Day 51 - It's the weekend again!

Jiaying," Once again it's the weekend. With our combined forces (Kor Kor and I）wonder how soon we'd turn papa and mama's hair white. Maybe that's why mama needs to dye her hair. "

Day 50 - 怒发冲官！

Jiaying," Mama went for a haircut. And while she was gone I was very hungry. Until my hair all stood on ends. This is a picture though, before. "

Day 49- I'm 7 weeks old!

Jiaying," Am I growing up too fast for you mama and papa?"

Day 48 - Little Miss Bright Eyed and Bushy Tailed

Day 47 - Milk mutiny!

Jiaying," I very much prefer my milk straight from the cow (my mama). I will register my displeasure with my mama!"

Day 46 - Meeting papa's friends！

Jiaying," we visited papa's friends. There were so many Kor Kors around but thankfully papa and mama didn't try to matchmake me. My Kor Kor is still the cutest. "

Day 45 - Day out at grandparents'

Jiaying " Papa and mama are out hunting for a mozzie free place. So Kor Kor and I are at our grandparents' place. I slept all the way thru. "

Jiaying," TGIF! Like my knee high socks? On other news Kor Kor pretended to be a pianist today. "

Little Miss Jiaying and her mama had an enjoyable time reading her black and white book. 

Day 41 - Reading with mama

Jiaying,” Kor Kor and I spent an enjoyable morning at grandpa and grandma's place while mama and mama went house viewing. Do you think I'll be getting a new playroom?" 

Day 38 - Joint Pedi Visit

Today both cute-cutes went to TMC together for their regular check-ups. Kai was running all over the clinic. Ying was comfy in yummy mama's arms throughout, wondering why Kor Kor prefers anything else.

Day 37 - Pretty in pink

Jiaying," Do you like my pink Taichi outfit? I liked it so much that I peed on it. Like all the other things that I like very much. Eg mama. My mama had her first reading session with me today. " 

Day 36 - Hair raising afternoon

Jiaying " I think I got papa and mama's hair genes. They're all standing on end!"

Jiaying (aka Jia Jia), " Look at my armchair Kungfu skills! Oh but wait, perhaps there are more than 1 pair of pandas at home." 

Cue: Sleep deprived papa and mama.

Jiaying," I'm a little teapot short and stout, here is my handle and here is my spout. "

Day 31 - Celebrating my birthday!

Jiaying :" I had a very enjoyable birthday celebration. My Kor Kor seemed to have as much fun - he helped my blow out my birthday candle and cut the cake. And see how happy he is with the balloons. Don't fly away Kor Kor!"

Jiaying ," Wonder why pork cheeks are so sought after? If they're any bit as tender and plump as mine, no wonder. "

Day 27 - Playtime with Kor Kor

Today was the first time Kor Kor and I played together. Look at us in my play gym. Kor Kor seemed to take quite abit of interest in my toys- some of which he was scared of when he was my age. I'm braver than him of course! :) 

In the evening, there was also another first - where papa used a sling to carry me while he and mama had dinner.
